Elliot a travaillé depuis quelques mois sur la prochaine exposition de la série “Ateliers d’écrivains” à la Grande Bibliothèque. L’exposition qui est lancée depuis le 1er décembre prochain pour une durée de six mois, met en valeur les œuvres de l’artiste pluridisciplinaire québécois Roland Giguère. Nous vous invitons à vous plonger dans son univers empreint de rêves.

Elliot worked for the past months on the next exhibition of the “Ateliers d’écrivains” serie that is held at the Grande Bibliothèque. It was launched on December 1st and will be presented until May 2010. This exhibition will highlight the work from renowned Quebec multidisciplinary artist Roland Giguère. We invite you to plunge in his world made of dreams.

Canteen Art Shop + Gallery

En ce long week-end d’action de grâce, Elliot à certainement profité d’une bonne table de grand-maman mais aussi de quelques jours de congés pour se promener dans la capitale canadienne. De boutique en boutique Elliot a fait du lèche vitrine sans besoin précis. Finalement, il trouva une petite perle. Une modeste boutique/galerie située sur la rue Dalhousie à Ottawa. Un espace simple et épuré vous accueille avec une collection intéressante de livres d’arts et de design. Au fond de la boutique, une petite galerie d’art présente des artistes de la région avec des illustrations, des imprimés et des œuvres en trois dimensions. Bref, une belle boutique inspirante à découvrir.

During the long Thanksgiving weekend, Elliot certainly enjoyed a good meal from Grandma. But with a few days off, he spent some time in Ottawa, wandering from shop to shop only to find this little gem. A small boutique/gallery located on Dalhousie Street called Canteen Art Shop. A simple and uncluttered space welcomes you with it’s interesting collection of books on art and design. The back consist of a small art gallery that features regional artists. A beautiful and inspiring store to discover.

Snowboard dices!

C’est  l’automne et la saison de planche se fait attendre avec impatience. Inspiré des ‘’skate dices” Elliot s’est amusé à créer de petits ‘’snowboard dices”. Patience la saison arrive!

It’s fall again and the snowboard season makes it’s way slowly upon us. Inspired by the famous “skate dices”, Elliot created these dices with snowboarders in mind. Be patient, winter is approaching!

50 ans d’art pour Rosemère

ROSEMERE

Dernièrement, Elliot a reçu le mandat de produire un livre d’oeuvre d’art pour la ville de Rosemère. Suite à deux expositions tenues dans le cadre du 50 ans d’art de la ville, la corporation des fêtes du 50e à décidé d’immortaliser l’événement dans un catalogue de 168 pages. Ce bel ouvrage se veut aussi un cadeau aux futurs citoyens de la ville.

Recently, Elliot has been mandated to produce a book of artworks for the City of Rosemere. Following two exhibitions held in the city to were referring to the 50 years of art in Rosemere, the organizers decided to immortalize these events in a 168 pages art book. This beautiful piece is given to the future citizens of Rosemere.
